            <title>We're on a Putumayo compliation!</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>Exciting news!&nbsp; One the songs from our most recent record got included on a Putumayo compilation CD.&nbsp; It&rsquo;s called Stomp, Stomp and it was on Swingin&rsquo; in Daddyland.&nbsp; Now it will also be on Jazz Playground, which comes out March 9<sup>th</sup> on the Putumayo Kids label.&nbsp; They happened to pick one of the few tunes that I did not actually write (it was written in the 1930&rsquo;s by The Cats &amp; The Fiddle), so I won&rsquo;t be able to retire off this.&nbsp; But I&rsquo;m psyched anyway.</p><br /><p>Here&rsquo;s some info about the CD, and about a tour that Putumayo has put together, in case you have friends in any of these cities.</p><br /><p><a href="http://www.lewisfranco.com/"></a></p><br /><table style="width: 100%;" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><br /><tbody><br /><tr><br /><td><br /><p><strong>Putumayo</strong><strong> Kids presents the Jazz Playground Concert Tour</strong></p><br /><p><strong>Bebop, swing and all that jazz: cool tunes for global kids!</strong>&nbsp;</p><br /></td><br /></tr><br /></tbody><br /></table><br /><p><strong>On March 9<sup>th</sup>, Putumayo Kids will </strong>release of <strong><em>Jazz Playground</em></strong>, a new collection of international jazz songs for children. From bebop and swing to Latin and<strong><em> </em></strong>African jazz, this multicultural CD celebrates the vibrant diversity and global influence of jazz and will get the<strong><em> </em></strong>whole family grooving!<strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p><br /><p>&nbsp;Over the last century, jazz has traveled around the world and influenced musicians in even the most remote corners of the earth. <em>Jazz Playground </em>demonstrates how artists in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania have adopted jazz and made it their own.
